Hey I’m Suzanne and I’m a complex trauma specialist and clinical psychologist. I know how deeply childhood trauma can impact every aspect of your life. It doesn’t matter how much you try to think or reason through it with logic, it just doesn’t change.

I want to offer you some hope for a life beyond constantly feeling the weight of your past. When you come to me for trauma therapy, my main goal is to make you feel seen, heard, and safe. I use emotion focused therapy, a gentle and effective trauma counselling approach that creates tangible changes.

There are so many life experiences that create complex trauma. You might have experienced something obvious like sexual abuse or violence, But you may have also experienced something harder to name and you might not be sure it can be labeled trauma. Maybe you had a childhood that wasn’t great, or you weren’t accepted for who you are.
