Suzanne Hall Trauma Psychologist Doncaster East, Melbourne

Hey, I’m Suzanne, a clinical psychologist with a focus on complex trauma. I know how deeply childhood trauma can impact every aspect of your life. It doesn’t matter how much you try to think or reason through it with logic; it just doesn’t change.

I want to offer you hope for a life beyond constantly feeling the weight of your past. When you come to me for trauma therapy, my main goal is to make you feel seen, heard, and safe. Using Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), a gentle and effective trauma counselling approach, I help create tangible changes.

There are so many life experiences that create complex trauma. You might have experienced something obvious like sexual abuse or violence, or something harder to name. Maybe you had a childhood that wasn’t great, or you weren’t accepted for who you are. If it deeply affected you and you can’t seem to shake the impact of it in your current life, then it’s most likely trauma. If you’re interested, have a read of my Essential Complex Trauma Guide.

What makes sessions with me unique is the environment we create together. You’ll find a space where we’re just two people sitting together, bringing different knowledge, skills, and experiences to the table. I strive for integrity and honesty, fostering an imperfect, unpolished human-to-human experience. This allows you to feel at ease, validated, and be your true, authentic self.

Don’t get too hung up on whether it was or wasn’t trauma you experienced. If you have a problem that is stopping you from being your full self, go ahead and fill out my intake form. If you’re ready to reclaim your voice and make your psyche whole again, share a bit about yourself and what you’re going through, and let’s start you on your journey to healing.

Psychotherapy Enquiry Form

Before you get in touch
I offer depth-oriented therapy for adults who want to understand themselves more fully—not just manage symptoms, but explore the underlying emotional patterns shaped by early life experiences. This isn’t strategies-based work or focused on surface-level problem-solving. It’s a slower, reflective process that supports lasting internal change.

I typically see clients on a fortnightly basis, and meaningful work usually extends beyond the Medicare-subsidised 10 sessions per year.

If that sounds like the kind of space you’re looking for, I look forward to helping you put the past behind you.

To ensure I can support you, please take a moment to fill out the form below. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
