Who I Support
Helping you heal from the past so you can become the version of yourself you know you can be.
Many of the people I work with already know that their past is still affecting their present.
You may have experienced sexual assault, difficult family relationships, emotionally harmful parents, or childhood experiences that continue to shape how you see yourself, relate to other people and move through the world.
Life may look reasonably stable. You’re working, studying, maintaining relationships and managing day-to-day responsibilities. But there might be parts of your life that still feel stuck. You may notice yourself repeating the same patterns, struggling to set boundaries, putting other people’s needs before your own, or reacting in ways that don’t quite fit the situation.
Deep down, you know there’s a connection between what happened then and what’s happening now.
You’re ready to understand it differently
You’ve probably already spent time trying to make sense of your experiences. You may have had therapy before, read about trauma or attachment, reflected on your relationships, or become very aware of your own patterns.
The problem isn’t that you don’t have insight.
It’s that insight hasn’t created the change you’re looking for.
You know where these patterns come from, but they still influence your relationships, your confidence, your decisions and your ability to trust yourself. You’re no longer asking, “What’s wrong with me?” You’re asking, “How do I stop this from continuing to shape my life?”
You now feel strong enough to work on it.
Many people come to see me after feeling that previous therapy stayed at the level of understanding or coping. They aren’t looking for another explanation of why they feel the way they do. They want to work through the experiences that continue to sit underneath it all.
Rather than seeing your reactions, relationship patterns or ways of coping as the problem, I see them as the ways your mind and body adapted to survive difficult experiences.
That creates a very different starting point for therapy.
The changes you’re hoping for
You may be wanting to stop carrying old wounds into present-day relationships. To feel less influenced by the past and more confident in your own thoughts, feelings and decisions.
You may want to speak up more easily, trust yourself, understand your own needs, set healthier boundaries, or finally stop feeling pulled back into the same relationship patterns.
For many people, it’s about closing the gap between the life they’re living now and the person they know they’re capable of being.
If this sounds like the support you’re looking for, I’d love to help.

Before you get in touch
I offer depth-oriented psychotherapy for adults seeking long-term emotional change. This work is reflective and relational—not strategies-based or short-term symptom management.
I typically work with clients on a fortnightly basis, and meaningful work often extends beyond the Medicare-subsidised 10 sessions.
If you’re seeking a consistent, emotionally safe space to explore how early experiences shape your present, I welcome your enquiry.
